Yogyashree Scheme 2024:
Honorable Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced the Yogyashree Scheme at the beginning of the new year. The state government will provide free coaching to students who want to prepare for various entrance exams like JEE, WBJEE, NEET etc.
Who can apply for this scheme?
The benefits of this new scheme of the state government can be availed only by the backward class students i.e. SC, ST class students. And this scheme will be run by Backward Class Welfare Department of West Bengal Government.
Benefits of Yogheshree Scheme:
According to the information provided by the state government, the state government will train more than 2000 scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students through 50 educational centers across the state. According to information from various sources, students will be trained for 6 months and 300 hours through this initiative of the state government. Also, classes will be held 3 days a week.
How to Apply Online/Offline Process:
Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee only announced this scheme at the beginning of the year and assigned the project management responsibility to the West Bengal Backward Class Welfare Department. But no detailed information about how to apply for this scheme has been released officially.
