Madhyamik exam 2024 Board updated about exam center: Madhyamik exam 2024 is going to start from February 2 across the state. Students are preparing for the first board exam of life, studying is going on vigorously.
A new update has been given by the Board of Secondary Education. The board has canceled a total of 200 examination centers in this year’s secondary. According to the board sources, about 10 lakh candidates are going to sit for this year’s Madhyamik. It is reported that the number of candidates has increased this year compared to the previous year. The number of examinees in 2023 was close to seven lakh. The board said that there has been an increase of three lakh examinees this year.
On the other hand, the number of venues has decreased this year compared to last year. Last year the total number of examination centers including main venue and sub venue was 2,867. This year the total number of examination centers has decreased by 200 centers to 2,675. According to sources, the number of 48 sub-venues has been increased by reducing 240 main venues this year.
Why cancel or change the test center?
Madhyamik Pariksha Exam Center List 2024: Exam organizers said the canceled venues lacked proper infrastructure. Most of the schools do not have infrastructure for CCTV. Several schools do not have panchils or boundary walls. Many schools do not have a wide entrance with question papers. Besides, vulnerable schools have not been considered as secondary examination centers this year. Schools that failed to fulfill the three mandatory conditions were excluded from the list of secondary examination centres.
Candidates may face some problems due to decrease in exam centers. However, students are expected to remain at the previous examination center, subject to change in some cases. However, these problems can be expected to be minimized as a result of measures taken in test management.
