Nabanna Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

A student needs the following qualifications for Nabanna Scholarship:

  • Applicant must be a resident of West Bengal.
  • Applicants must have successfully passed their most recent examination from a recognized Board, Council or University in West Bengal.
  • Students must be admitted to a recognized educational institution in West Bengal.
  • Students should have minimum 50 percent marks in previous examination.
  • Annual family income of the student should not exceed ₹1,20,000/-.

Earlier the application for Nabanna Scholarship was to be done offline at the Chief Minister’s office by posting the application form along with the required documents but from 2023 the complete application can be done online from the portal.

  • Click on ‘Apply For Financial Assistance for Education’ in the ‘Financial Assistance for Education’ section at the bottom of the home page.
