Sir Ratan Tata, one of India’s most successful industrialists, was born on December 28, 1937 in Mumbai. He is the adopted grandson of Tata Group founder Jamshedji Tata and son of Naval Tata. His mother’s name is Suni Tata. Ratan Tata’s parents separated when he was ten years old. After his father’s second marriage, his mother became so destitute that Ratan Tata took refuge in an orphanage named ‘JN, Preet Parsi’.

This great industrialist left this world on the evening of October 9, 2024. He was 86 years old at the time of death.
